We are in search of a dynamic and solution-oriented leader to join the Neiders executive leadership team.
About the role
We’re seeking a calm, detail-oriented Night Auditor to manage overnight operations at our extended-stay hotel in downtown Seattle. This property serves a diverse guest population and can involve complex guest relations and heightened service needs. You’ll balance hospitality with policy compliance, safety, and accurate end-of-day reporting.
Schedule: 2 PM to 10 PM (must have weekends and holidays availability)
What you’ll do
- Complete nightly audit: reconcile folios, balance cash/credit, post adjustments, and produce end-of-day reports.
- Monitor property safety: complete floor walks, document incidents, enforce quiet hours and house rules.
- Handle late check-ins/early departures, extend stays, process payments, and set up next-day arrivals.
- De-escalate challenging situations with professionalism; follow escalation protocols and contact on-call leadership or security/law enforcement when required.
- Respond to guest requests (lock-outs, amenities, maintenance triage) and create/track work orders.
- Maintain lobby/front desk cleanliness and readiness; prepare shift handoff notes.
- Adhere to brand standards, cash-handling SOPs, privacy (PCI), and safety procedures.
What you’ll bring
- 2+ year front desk, night audit, or related hospitality experience (extended-stay or multifamily preferred).
- Proven de-escalation and conflict-resolution skills; composed under pressure.
- Strong math and Excel/PMS proficiency; accuracy with nightly reconciliations.
- Clear, professional communication.
- Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift; lift up to 25 lbs; conduct hourly rounds (including stairs).
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.; ability to pass background screening.
