Maintenance Supervisor – Weekly Stay Property

Our commitment to accountability and legendary service drives our success, and we are seeking a hands-on, safety-conscious Maintenance Supervisor to support one of our weekly stay properties—a setting that requires operational agility, strict security protocols, and a customer-first approach. 

Job Overview 

As the Maintenance Supervisor for a weekly stay property, you will lead all maintenance operations in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. This role requires proactive problem-solving, a >span class="NormalTextRun SCXW141309111 BCX8"> of urgency, and the ability to manage a diverse and transitional guest population. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the property while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism. 

Key Responsibilities 

Accountability & Operations 

  • Oversee all maintenance tasks, including unit turnover, repairs, preventive care, and emergency response. 
  • Maintain organized records of work orders, inspections, materials, and inventory. 
  • Respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs common in transient occupancy settings. 

Customer Service & Resident Support 

  • Provide legendary customer service, balancing professionalism with assertiveness when handling guest issues. 
  • Communicate clearly with guests and management regarding maintenance timelines and expectations. 
  • Foster trust and consistency through visibility, availability, and responsiveness. 

Team Supervision & Leadership 

  • Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards with minimal downtime. 
  • Lead, train, support and set clear expectations around safety, performance, and quality standards. 
  • Cultivate a work environment that is respectful, efficient, and compliant with property policies. 

Safety, Security & Compliance 

  • Support security efforts aligned with high-security operational standards. 
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and promptly address hazards or violations. 
  • Partner with property leadership in crisis response or safety escalations as needed. 

Turnover & High-Volume Maintenance 

  • Manage quick unit turnovers with attention to cleanliness, functionality, and readiness. 
  • Coordinate closely with housekeeping and front desk to maintain daily operational flow. 
  • Monitor wear-and-tear trends in a short-term stay environment and implement preventive strategies. 

 

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred. 
  • 5+ years of property maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. 
  • Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general construction. 
  • Experience working in high-security, high-turnover housing or hospitality preferred. 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed. 
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
