We’re seeking a highly capable and self-driven Maintenance Manager to manage a one-person property where independence and pride in your work matter most. 

Job Overview 

This is a one-person operation — perfect for someone who thrives working solo and takes ownership of every aspect of property maintenance. As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for all day-to-day maintenance operations, including repairs, inspections, and resident service requests. You’ll be the face of the maintenance team (because you are the team!) and play a critical role in keeping the property running smoothly and residents satisfied. 

Responsibilities 

Perform all maintenance duties, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair, and unit turns. 
Respond to resident work orders promptly and professionally. 
Conduct regular property inspections and proactively identify and resolve maintenance issues. 
Manage inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors as needed. 
Provide legendary customer service with a friendly, solutions-first attitude. 
Communicate clearly with residents about maintenance timelines and updates. 
Represent The Neiders Company with professionalism, care, and pride. 
Follow safety protocols and ensure the property complies with all health, safety, and building regulations. 


On-Call Readiness: 

Participate in the emergency on-call rotation and respond to after-hours issues as needed. 

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications are a plus 
  • 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential/multifamily settings 
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a property’s maintenance operations solo 
  • Proficient in general repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance 
  • Strong customer service and time management skills
  • Must have valid driver's license and a reliable transportation
  • Ability to work on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed
