Job Overview: 

We have an immediate need for a reliable, upbeat, and enthusiastic Storage Admin to support our self-storage facility. The Storage Admin serves as the helpful and knowledgeable point of contact onsite, representing The Neiders Company with professionalism and a commitment to legendary service.

They are energetic, outgoing self-starters who possess excellent sales, marketing, and customer service skills while ensuring the facility operates efficiently and profitably.

Essential Functions: Include but are not limited to:  

  • Keeping the facility rented at optimum levels by effectively utilizing advertising, promotional and customer relation skills as approved by management.
  • Provides outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone and walk-in inquiries.
  • Shows and rents self-storage units as well as actively selling and maintaining supplies of moving and packing materials.
  • Maintains all required tenant documentation in a neat and orderly manner according to company policy.
  • Controls delinquencies through telephone contact and letters on a scheduled basis including sending out monthly invoices.
  • Maintains a neat, clean, safe, and secure facility including minor maintenance and daily lock checks as well as visual inspection daily.
  • General management of the office including but not limited to opening and closing the office on time each day, keeping, and balancing petty cash, making daily bank deposits, and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by management.
  • Assist in preparing units for auction, vacate as prescribed by law and approved by management.

Qualifications:

  • 'Business Owners' with natural demeanor as highly versatile leader who closely manage the financial success of the self-storage as if they own it.
  • Independent thinkers, excellent communicators who deliver high quality work, consistently, with strong sense of integrity.
  • High school degree and basic computer skills required; two (2) years of prior experience in relevant industry preferred.
  • Flexibility to work weekends are required.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Meeting the physical requirements of the job such as frequently walking the property, standing for long periods of time, climbing ladders, kneeling, lifting & moving items (up to 50 lbs.).
