 Job Overview: 

As a Traveling Painter for our property management company, you will be responsible for performing a variety of painting tasks across different properties, with a strong emphasis on accountability and legendary customer service. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that painting projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards, enhancing the overall appearance of our properties and delighting our residents. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Accountability: 

  • Take ownership of assigned painting projects and ensure they are completed within established timelines and budgets. 
  • Maintain accurate records of painting work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and project status updates. 
  • Adhere to painting specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards to ensure the integrity and longevity of painted surfaces.  

2. Legendary Customer Service: 

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents by conducting painting projects with minimal disruption and inconvenience. 
  • Communicate effectively with residents to understand their painting needs and preferences, ensuring their satisfaction with the result.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with residents, colleagues, and property managers. 

3. Painting Projects: 

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed. 
  • Apply paint, stain, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. 
  • Perform touch-ups and repairs to painted surfaces as requested, ensuring a flawless finish and appearance. 

4. Property Upkeep: 

  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of painted surfaces, including walls, trim, doors, and ceilings. 
  • Monitor and address painting-related maintenance issues and safety hazards to ensure a safe and attractive living environment for residents. 
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate efforts and ensure the overall upkeep of the property. 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in painting preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a painter, preferably in the property management or construction industry. 
  • Strong painting skills with the ability to prepare surfaces and apply paint effectively and accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering legendary service to residents. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
